What do you think of this power party?

Going to be melee heavy since there are so many weapons out there and I hate to see some go to waste. Also with a melee heavy group it means less resting to recharge spells and most fights can be won by sheer melee power.

1. The old standby Paladin wielding Carsomyr
2. Kensai/Mage with Celetial Fury and Derkon Zerth Blade
3. Archer Ranger with Gesen bow
4. Ranger/Cleric with FoA/Crom
5. Barbarian with Silver Sword and/or Wave
6. Figher/Thief with Daystar/Equalizer

About the only weapon in there that seems possible of being reconsidered is the Silver Sword. Possible alternatives to the Silver Sword are Wave, Belm/Kundane, Stonefire/Frostreaver, Soul Reaver. The other alternative is to drop the Barbarian all together and go with a Monk with Gauntlets of Crushing. Whats your opinions?

if that is the kind of party you enjoy to play, then more power to you. not much challenge in that party though, but would be a good party to go through TOB with.
i would suggest that instead of wave use dragon's breath...in my opinion, a much better halberd

I agree with Nael- if that's what you like, more power to you. It doesn't fit my style, though. I like multiple spellcasters. You've got only one mage and one cleric, and none at early levels. Lot's o' power, though. Very tough.

Just a lil observation. Won't this party be a lil short on healing? I mean, you have a lot of meleers that means most of your party will be goin toe to toe against most of your foes.
That'll involve a lot of combat healing with mass cures. I'd make the barbarian into a berserker cleric, or maybe even a pure cleric

You don't really need more healers because frankly all the battles are gonna be pretty short. I would let the barbarian dualwield foa and defender of easthaven and let the ranger cleric wield CF and something else. Defender of easthaven is a must for barbarians. Don't drop the barbarian!!

Just to clarify going to dual the Ranger to Cleric at lvl 9.

Equalazer is not so powerful IMO.
Take dragon breath, but when you gain the wave, use it.....
Give the impaler a try...
