so i want to start from beginning with a monk chick..
i thought about my prev game where i was a sorcerer, and what will happen to all the romance scripts etc?
sure jaheria wont romance with me or anything, but what happens when ur main guy is female?
minsc yoshi etc start to romance u?

pls help me with this before i cr8 ma char 2day =]

Women get stuck with that creepy Anomen! A lot of us female players are rather ticked off about it. I hope they give us more choices in the expansion. My monk booted him out, as he was such an arrogent jerk! I would never go with a guy like that in real life, let alone in a fantasy!

@JKC, I must ask this, how far did you go in the romance with him?
I know that I am a guy but I did the romance and he stop his attitude after being kinghted, and compared to Aerie "my wings" romance dialoges, he not that bad.

They have been hinting that there could well be another female PC romance in the expansion. Since the romance that was going to be in but never made it was one with Haer'Dalis (complete with Aerie to complete the triangle), it could be very interesting indeed..........

Then again, he's only got to compete with Anomen, so.......

He just turns me off. Also, my character really does not know how his attitude will change, when she first meets him. In P&P gaming, that's called 'metagame thinking'. All she knows is that this guy is a self absorbed creep, always bragging about himself. He expects me to be impressed with him, after all my character has been through? Then he belittles my accomplishments, and tries to smooth it over with insipid apologies? What turned my lawful good monk off was his lack of compassion for the poisoned Harper, saying that he might be drunk rather than poisoned and dying. Dumping him was a role-playing choice. After all, as I stated before, she has no idea how he will turn out. I did carry the romance past him getting his knighthood with a dwarven berserker (Yes, he will romance a female dwarf, at least he did mine). But he still turned me off. I think that "What is it now?!" Even after passing his test does it to me. Maby if they change that in the expansion, I'll give him another chance.

I would still love Yoshimo to hit on the female PC! POSSIBLE SPOLIER.........

Think about it...it would make things so much more interesting, and there could be a really violent break up scene *evil grin*

but yoshimo is a trailer(sp?) and he will be dead. anyway, anomen stopped romancing me when he got knighted, any ppl know y? and bodhi didn't take him in CH6. i wished i could say, get on with your killing job against those monsters, and f*** off hehe

Yes, Yoshi is a traitor, but think about it...He romances the female PC until that point in time...it adds a little more anger to the fight, and I think that would be the ultimate insult (Yoshi: Haha...I have bedded her to make her trust me, and maybe even love me, and then BAM! Biggest Backstab of the game without the PC even losing hit points)

Funny, he did not stop for my elf, he started to compare my elf to a flower and after that dialoge he wanted to show her his "love" in the next dialoge, that "love" thing dialoge only happens at rest.

oh yea, he compared my pc with flower as well, but i didn't rest and probably i said something to put him off, (can't remember what.)

since then he is very quiet which is very nice

The next romance dialoge its at resting.
Sometimes the game pause at rest, just unpause to see the dialoge.
