I've killed Balor but next time I checked my inventory all my robes had gone, save the one Edwin was wearing. I know I had them before Underdark. It doesn't both me much, save Aerie now has no Robe of Good Archimage after I bought it in Trademeet. Is there another one anywhere?

Plus should I buy the Robe of Evil Archimage for Edwin from the guy in the Drow city or should I wait and get it later, i.e. kill?

You are supposed to get a Robe of the Evil Archmagi from the dragon in Hell, but I'm not sure if you can loot it there, never tried it...

You can get the Robe of Evil Archmagi if you take the evel route in a test in Hell, but that will be about ten minutes before the end of the game, so bying it might be a good idea.

Common magic robe eaters are the Nishru. Since you are in the underdark, my guess is that you've gone to the fights in the drow city, came across a summoned Nishru and had your robe nicked.

It's really annoying, but it can be avoided. As for the Robe of Evil archmagi... buy it now... what else are you going to spend you countless gold coins on???
