I usually try for all 15 stats but it takes a wile and I'd like to know what everyone else goes for so that I might get different views on what stats to roll for

When adding all the stats together I'm satisfied if they all add up to a value of 88......which would be the equivalent as (88/6) 14.6666666 for every stat...(usually takes me a while to roll and it is the most I've ever rolled, still makes a pretty good character)

15 in every stat would add up to a value of 90...(you must have been rerolling quite a long time to get those stats....guess I'm lacking in patience and just want to get a descent roll and get going with the game)

96 is the most I've rolled on a character. A cavalier, of all classes. I'm with Karembeu, though. 86 or better usually works for me. I often try to figure out what I want the character's stats to be before I start rolling, then roll till I get them. Ah,... PNP was so much easier, that way.

Rolling rolling rolling gotta keep on rolling.

Now .. I'm with Rail the highest roll was with a Paladin 90 something. With any other class high 80's . With the other classes you can always take and drop your charisma down and add to where you need it.

Paladins always get the highest stats, because of their high prime requisites. But it may take a while if you also try to get a good strength score (18/90+).

My Chevalier has 18/00 and 94 total. This was a lucky one, indeed.

I spent many hours with my characters - I can store them in character files. One example: ranger/CLERIC: 18/93 18 18 15 18 10.

Well without cheating I usually end up being able to have All my stats up to 15 and sometimes (seldomly) I get 1 or 2 extra points to add onto the stat my class needs. Anyone else do what I do too???

Rolling a Paladin has brought me up to 98, with no more than 20 minutes of re-rolling. For other classes, I think rangers get the high rolls kinda easy (several over 90 with them). For my favorit fighter-thief i rolled allmost two hours to get him to 95!

I roll till I have high stats at Char and Wis, then put them to Min and spend the points elsewhere...

to save yourself the time of re rolling like a sad gimp, just cheat! i think its something like holding down cntrl, shift and 8 while creating the character (find out for sure on gamewinners or somewhere)

generally, i prefer not to cheat, but surely, to save yourself 2 hours, its worth losing a tiny shred of dignity

you can reduce the superhuman effect by knocking a few points off here and there, so you end up with an 18, a couple of 16s, and the rest 15, or whatever

(this helps if you want to dual class later on and gave your bloke only 3 wisdom, etc)

... and you know it's true!

to Melosh-Tar:
ranger/CLERIC is a cleric which can cast all druid spells. He gets the ranger stronghold.
