Just a question.. In BG 1 if you picked up npcs later in the game, their exp increased to be similar to your party.. is this the same in BG2? The reason I ask is I'm playing with 5 ppl to try and max exp and then get a good npc later..

I think it goes up some, but not sure exactly how it works. Equis said Cernd was level 14 when he picked him up. I've seen him at level 10 and 12.
