Hello one and all here the the Gamebanshee forums.....

Straight to the point:I make weapons for ppl and for myself but lately a problem has been haunting me....to dual wield, single wield or shield (<---wield?)....that is the question whether it is better to deflect the blows of enemies or to cut them up....currently.....I either have a choice of a human cavalier or an elven um....well i havent decided on an elf yet....if possible, i have seen the posts Sabre made and would like to ask him a question:is there a way to alter the 2DA rules and make an elven paladin or not? Currently i feel rather disappointed as the elves cant have paladins

NOTE: This question isnt only for Sabre it can be for anyone else who knows how to alter 2DA

Thank you people.....

Shadow keeper you can "Bypass" the .2DA files(or delete them from the override file, NOT ADVISED!)

But, if you change your race with SK after creating a character, do you get all racial bonuses, or do you miss out on them?

currently playing a gnomish, sorceror assassin kensai.

you keep the killer saves vs spells, currently around -4!!!

mwaahahahahah!!!!

to dragon breath or whack with poisoned holy avenger sword...the decision!

I looked through the 2DA files, the race/class restriction isn't there, so I guess it's encoded into the exe file; so no you can't edit the file to allow an Elven Paladin. Changing race with Shadow Keeper will give you the racial bonus of the class, just remember to change the appearance of the character as well - unless you want an elf to look human.

my gnomish sorc is over ridden, and while I have not experimetned extensively changing from one class to another, As far as I understand it, thaco carries over but lore and saving throw do not carry over, so my sorc converted from kensai has -25 thaco but saves of a gnome.
