Are they concidered a mage as to what they can wear. ie. can they wear the ring of wizadry which allows you to memorize extra spells.

They're mages.....the only difference is that you don't leran spells from scrolls, you can cast more spells per level and you don't need to choose before sleeping which spells to memorize...

Will the ring of wizardry allow me to memorize more spells. Scince you have to pick which spell to learn at character creation and level ups when would the extra spells granted from the ring take affect.

Yes it will.....in your spellbook you'll have the left page with the spells you know and a number i.e. 6/6. That means you can cast 6 spells of that lvl. When you put the ring of wiz. on, it will become 6/7...and after a night of resting 7/7

I just started a new game as a sorceror and it seems that i cast 6 1st lvl spells, 5 or so 2nd, 5 3rd, and 3 4th

I am only level 8

it's the whole point of it, a sorceror has the ability to cast a lot of spells, but he can only learn 5 spells of each level

so pick your spells with care and then u really have a broken char.
a tip for sorceror (expacially soloers)
buy a lot scrollchases sorceror can use the scrolls to cast the spells and that is very very nice
