okay, since my last post on this topic was unsuccessful, I have decided to narrow my search for spells to three specific spells. I would like to know where I can get Spell Immunity, and Mordenkainen's Sword and Wycern Call (I am a conjurur after all). Thanks

Spell Immunity is in the spider queen's lair near Bodhi's stronghold under the graveyard.

Wyvern Call is in some place I encounter game after game, but I can't remember where that is.

Mordenkainen's Sword turns up in the Asylum, IIRC (and I may not).

As far as I know, Mordenkainen's Sword is a randam scroll.

I think I got the Wyvern Call (sp?) during my time in Imnesvale/Temple Ruins.

Since I usually play a mage, I'm currently trying to make a log of where I find scrolls.
I'll make a gigantic post when I get it finished because I don't think these are random as some people suggest (I must test this theory of course). But for now ...

I found Wyvern's Call in the Ruined Temple in the Umar Hills. I believe it is in the statue past the Indiana Jones room (the one where you have to step on the lettered block).

I found Mordenkainen's Sword on an Amnish Soldier in Waukeen's Promenade. Go to the arched entrance on the lower-right of the map. In each arch there is a soldier. On the one in the topmost arch I found a Flesh to Stone scroll. On the one right below him, I found Mordenkainen's Sword.

The soldier at the City Gates also has a nice one although I can't remember.

Silvanus, in the Copper Coronet (you know the elf that hits on every female in the party) has a scroll of Pierce Magic.

Needless to say there are others, luckily my familiar (ferret) has decent pick pocketing abilities!

Loads of scrolls probably are random. I sometimes checked Dan Simpson's BGII FAQ, but he mentions completely different stuff in several locations.

I agree, a lot of them probably are.

But I'm just after those that appear to be placed there rather than just random. I guess being a programmer makes me look WAY to far into games like this ;) !
