Kensai-Thief Questions

Hey all,

I started soloing with my Kensai-Thief. My character just hit level 13 as a Kensai and dualed to Thief. I noticed that my character (as a level 1 thief) cannot wear any armor (including leather) or use bracers of defense. Is this a bug? Or is it a quasi-religious thing with the Kensai?

If Imy character can't wear armor or use bracers how the heck is he going to survive to get to level 14 as a Thief soloing?

Can anyone give me any advice? Should I just start over with a Berserker-Thief or multi-classed Fighter/Thief? or a Swashbucker?

Thanks in advance.

Yup.

Hey, soloing wasn't supposed to be easy ;) You could try hit & fade tactics. Hide in shadows, backstab or throw some daggers/darts/axes, run, hide.

The Berserker-Thief and Swashbuckler also have quite some potential, but it should not make a huge difference. It's mostly a matter of taste. Do what you think is the most fun.

Once you've got a decent amount of experience in pickpocketing, swallow a potion of master thievery and help yourself to as many potions of defense you can find. Also other potions might help, of course, like the potion of invisibility.

These will help you in fights where you can't get by with backstabbing.

I would stick with the kensai/thief, it is the coolest class I think. What are your ablities and proficiencies etc.?

I hope you already found the cloack of non-detectablity. It is very useful for a K/T!
