is it pronounced like "Go" but with a dr instead of a G, or is it like cow, but with a dr instead of c?
My friend says the "Go" way, but Jaheira says the "cow" way, when talking about Viconia.

I'm absolutely positive that it rhymes with 'cow'. If you want some in-game proof just listen to the conversation between the fanatics at Viconia's bonfire.

Talking about names, I think the name Jan Jansen also is kind of silly, at least for Dutch people. Jan Jansen is (or was) a Dutch cyclist who won the Tour de France (wich is the most prestigious cycling course) in 1968. It is comparable to meeting on ogre mage named Diego Maradonna.

Have any of you noticed how much the story looks like Star Wars: You start out as a simple fellow but an old bearded guy drags you into an adventure implying you've got a special heritage. You meet a nice girl and later she is your sister and you find out your father is a powerful evil character that wears a mask and prefers black clothing.

And now there is talk of B3 becoming the prequel to the BG trilogy!

Oh, and did anyone notice the remarkable similarity between Boo and Chewbecca?
