Err, you can use then as Alchemical resources.

Also, Glass, Ebony, and Adamantium can make armor in Mournhold for MUCH cheaper than you buy it originally.

although strangely enough you appear to need quite alot of it... 26 pieces of ebony (weight 260) to make a cuirass of weight 60. somethi8ng going on there methinks.

Certainly there is.

You think Ebony armor should come cheap? :p

nope, i think you shldn't need more than 400 % of ebony needed to make the cuirass, PLUS an overly large (i think its 26000 drakes) sum of money i could aunterstand if you were giving him the right amount of ebony, plus money to but the cuirass, but its just wayy to much ebony. maybe its done on size not weight though..

Assuming you're on a PC, there's also an Inscription mod that allows you to make up to three spell scrolls using a single crushed precious stone. The materials and instructions are on a table in each Mages Guild.

Not to bring science into fiction but maybe the Ebony you 'mine' is an ore and needs to be refined before being made into armor.

But isn't it nice to play in a world without strip mines and slag heaps!

Indestructible´s Armor Mod allows you to make your own armor, if enough skill. I usually make my starting money by looting Vassir-Dinadat for starting ebony (pretty dangerous for starting character +100 difficulty), but it´s worth it. :D

So does Max (NOBODY) 's Complete Morrowind, which has the additional advantage of letting you craft a wide selection of leather and metal goods, create wood items and pottery, poison arrows, and prepare food and drink with a host of special properties.

Oooohh, that sounds like a FUN mod! maybe I'll download it onto the PC I JUST GOT! That's right, Fable, I took your advice. And look at that! You didn't even have to come build another room on our house!

LOL! :D At last, you've joined the Dark Side! Or is it the Sixth House...? No matter! The world of mods is opening before you. Enjoy it, and ask if you've got any questions.

BEORNICA YOU TRAITOR!!! lol joking... so i am one of the last of a dying breed of xboxers... :( ah well... so these armor mods, how complete is your control over what you make? can you make somehting inovatice and original? or are you stuck with the getting-old-very-fast designs already available in the game?

Why, Jesty, don't you listen to a thing Fable says? If you did, you'd know that aaaaaaanything is possible with the right mod! Someone could start a thread saying: "I really wish my character could pick his butt." And Fable would pipe up, saying "you know, there's a mod for that..."
