Okay, so every game and RPG forum has it's fair share of polls but here's one for you.

Lot's player can tell you the classes they would NEVER play, the classes they always play and the classes they would like to play in the future.

Having said that, what classes do you love to play with? What classes do you love to share a game with.

When I say classes you can include comments on races/kits/classes/monsters etc.

My favourite is Bard. I hate playing them (and have a few times to justify the claim) but I love sharing a game with one. Mostly because of one person I used to play with who was just brilliant and often played bard characters.

So what's your favourite 'co-star' and why?

I'm not sure if you're asking this for a DM or as a player.

As a player I liked to play alongside warriors and melee types. Basically, because I was always too frightened of dying and so I enjoyed staying behind flesh barriers. :) Oh, and because a friend of mine who always played warriors was one hell of a crazy warrior...he'd basically just charge into every battle, while I'd have my back foot in the other room.

As a DM, I found amusing those players with creativity. Nothing adds more to an adventure than creative players. Thus, I generally liked player spellcasters because I enjoyed seeing how they dealt with situations using their magic. :)

I like playing a wizard and a rogue, the main reson is their diversity.

Wizards can creativly use their spells, the spell I love is Prestidigitation. It's the simplest of spells but it has some great uses. For instance, if a huge beast wants to swallow a character whole, use prestidigitation to make him taste dirrrty.

Rogues just have something cool about them, mysterious. Plus you have to play smart to stay alive instead of counting on your hitpoints.

I enjoy playing with at least one character that's race/class/alignment everybody hates. If another player doesn't have this I will normally take the part. It just adds more roleplaying for all the characters.

It depends on the player, not on the class, IMO.
