Which familiar do you find most useful? Does the familiar associated with each alignment affect your alignment choice?

I love the Ferret & the Cat.

Yes, when I'm playing a Mage, I always choose Lawful Neutral and Chaotic Neutral for those.

Can you explain me why the Faerie Dragon is good? I never played with one...

the few times I play as a Mage, I don't choose their alignment for the familiar that comes with it, I choose it in regards of the party's alignment. Anyway, the familiar stays in my inventory all the time :p And as a result, I don't remember any of their names, so I have no idea which ones I already had

I usually do a good party. But still...

I think this is more like a allignment thread than a familiar but...

Well, I like the Idea to have a Pseudo Dragon because of Cespy, IMO they should be seemingly. If not equal.

Ferret, duh!

The munchkin answer, is, of course, Ferret (though it should respond to Kiki ;) ) - but you have to be of that lame LN alignment to get it, supposedly.

And, of course, all classes can have familiars, with a little potion swap cheese.

My favorite familiar is the cat, not so much for the in-game advantages, but because of my real-life preferences.

I think the rabbit's ability to find traps might come in handy if you don't have a Thief in your party; but I never play a True Neutral character.

invisibility 10ft radius spell...its useful, but i prefer my sorc to have mass invisibility spell, so having a familiar that can cast the spell saves a spell slot.. :D

famillars

I prefere cats.Although in a D&D board game a psdo-dragon can come in handy for low level players.
