Can NWN work

Heres the scenario im going to format my C: drive so that i can start up my computer the reasons are not mattering to you. the problem is windows is on the C: drive while all my games are on the E: . Can NWN work if i Format the Drive with Windows on an Re-install it while the game is still on E : and i cant reinstall the game cause i borrowed the game to a friend of mine. Can i play NWN after Formatting c: DRIVE or will that stop the game from running

You should have no problem from what i can see. You can play it but windows wont recognize it being installed.

If you format the drive with Windows on it, then you'll be cleary the system's registry as well. Therefore, when you reinstall Windows, it will not know that NWN is installed - or any other things that have not been installed after you reinstall it. So I don't think that the game will still run, not too sure, just what I think about it.

Ive got 2 oppinions here one saying basicly i cant play NWN after Formatting C: and another saying i can, anybody whose sure in this case . If i Format C: might i be able to make the values needed for NWN to play in regedit ?

You can still play the game. But it wont show up in things like uninstall, or ask to play game in MSN.
You can add that manual to the registry. if you want.
But why not just uninstall NWN? and reinstall when your done?
