If you like Vampires and games how could you not buy it :)

Its very action and story oriented thou your interaction/dialogue only effects your humainty, in about 6 places in the game.
Your solo or up to a total of 4 party memebers, basicly a 3rd person view.
It was state of the art grapics in 1999 on release, still looks very good.
There are 3 endings depending on your humanity level and you MUST install the patch, trust me :)
Then there is the online ST mod, was about the best/closest to pnp online multiplayer content I have seen.
Thou not much activity now as WON is dead I think, but in a WOD mod availible there is an alternetive.

I have seen it for $9.00 an increditable deal.

What are your concerns, anyway, have you seen something in a review that worries you ?
Most reviews I recall were very postitive.
Its not perfect by any means but I thought it was a great game, on my hard drive, now.

a few reveiws i have seen said that it looks bad

and some say it screws up the discipline from the pnp version (Mainly Thaumaturgy)

and i just wanted to know if it looked nice and was fun to play.

i cant wait till bloodlines comes out

Yeah, I cant wait for Bloodlines either.
Speaking of messing up Disiplines, Bloodlines is gonna :(
No Mask or Mist, plus COMPLETE and UTTER restriction of Disiplines to Clan only, ie 3 each, for the whole game, ie only 2 Clans with Fortitude.

Redemption
Well it was state of the art in 1999 and even today no Quake 1 oer 2 engine looks better at least none I can think of.
They actually had particle smoke and were one of the first games to have it, at least that I recall.
Well its hard to get Disipline perfect, plus most ST never use the same rules either.
I like that there are many Disiplines to choose from, complete freedom for you the player to choose, what more could you ask :)
If you want to play it strict do so, if you want to try out of Clan Disiplines go for it, its your choice.
Its hard for me to knock a game that give your freedom of choices, plus it help balance out the linear story.
I thought the story was great thou, live and play across 800 years to become a very powerful Vamp.
Like I said its not perfect, ie dont bother with any type of ranged weapons, period.
The AI also has problems using to much blood, so you need to turn off AutoUse Disiplines in the options, things like that.
Out of couriousity what reviews said it didnt look good and what were they comparing it too?

Here is an example of all the postive press, look most all of thebiggest site picked Redemption as best of show at E3.

Sadly alot of the reviews cant befound or links or broken.
