Can a fallen paladin wield carsomyr?

I played an evil paladin and wielded Carsomyr throughout the game. However, a Fallen Paladin cannot wield it so make SURE your reputation doesn't fall below 6.

I became a fallen paladin but have never equipped anything but Carsomyr and im fine. It would probably reject it if I tried to reequip it.
