Is there a selling price cap on items once you enter the Underdark? I've got some amazing items (some worth over 100,000) But when I go to sell them, they only offer 10,000 tops) Basically if it's worth more than 10 G's, you can't sell it at value. Is this normal? I'm in HoU...after beating that "Vixthra" dragon...

The price cap is everywhere in HotU. The highest cap is in chapter 3 with G'ruul (sp?).

Thanks Noober.

Man that completely sucks. I have well over a million gp's worth of stuff! Why did they do that???

It's not like I can use any of it, because of my class and abilities, so basically I go to a merchant and "bend over".

Maybe I'll level up and take on exotic weapon proficiency (sp?)

Money is hardly an issue even with price cap at the merchants.
Just stockpile your stuff and sell to high paying merchants.

Well...I went back to an old save, (just after I defeated Vixthra) (sp?) and got another magic bag so I could hold everything, and when I go back to Gruul, I'll be making at LEAST 300,000 more GP than if I sold to people with the 10,000 gp cap.

Gruul has so many cool items that I couldn't afford before but now I can. I would just go in a cheat to get gold, but this game I'm playing w/o cheating. (I always play once straight, and then go back and play again, cheating to get whatever I want) I like the satisfaction of playing fairly the first time.
