Where are the epic spells?

I'm running a level 24 bard with Spellcraft=36. I have no Epic spells appearing in the radial menu. I have not found any scrolls either. How are you supposed to gain them? The manual seems to indicate that you should automatically gain them as an epic level character(including a bard), when you achieve the requisite Spellcraft points. My bard is now totally sabotaged, as I can hardly even damage Grimgnaw & co. before they kill me. At this point, I feel I should've put the points in Perform instead. Any help is appreciated.

Is the 36 withouth bonus or inclusive? The spellcraft level needs to be base as far as I know.

You take epic spells as feats, and the prerequisites are using base spellcraft and Xandax mentioned. There also migh be a bug that does not allow classes that don't have lvl 9 spells to take epic spells (though it may be fixed in the next patch).

In the in game description of the epic spell feat, it says that a character must be able to cast level 9 spells to take epic spells.

Don't feel bad, though, except for warding they all suck anyway :)

I pretty sure that it is the highest level that your character can cast (I think it's like that in D&D too), why else would Bioware talk about fixing it?

Well, Greater Ruin isn't too bad either...

Heh, for a cleric or druid, greater ruin's awesome :) But considering that level eight sorceror spells (emp IGMS) deal more damage...meh.
