Tons of money and stuff

I found that on in any fight where there is a staircase nearby, if you are fighting a large group (top flour of the den of seven vales ,eg) then just have your party run downstairs. A few of the enemy will follow allowing you to easily kill them and nick their stuff. If you run back upstairs you should find those dead enemies are still there. Just keep repeating this process to get unlimited loot you can sell. This also works on a single enemy who may have a kick ass piece of equipment.

But have you ever lacked for money, at least, during the latter chapters? I think in my first run-through I ended SoA (this was before ToB came out) with 120,000 gold thingees left over. You're welcome to cheat your way into more cash; I'm just not aware that it's necessary.

Hmm...

That's never happened to me. I often use zone lines to split out groups of hostiles, and it often enables to me to fight them in ones and twos and I've never seen them alive again. But, as Fable said, money is mostly not an issue.

The only moment you could want to use that glitch is when you're trying to get 20 000 gp for the Shadow Thieves.

Getting the gold for the shadow thieves is very easy to do. After talking to Gaelan, I went to the Copper Coronet...and by the time I had left the CC, I already had his money.

Nightmare must do all the CC sidequests, including the slavers. If my calculations are correct yes, you can do them or stay very very close to it. (depending on how did you went through Irenicus Dungeon too)

Copper Coronet Side Quest? Is it including Nalia's quest and Windspear Hill Journey?

Nope, only the Copper, the Slaver, thieving the folks inside CC and selling goods. And doing a complete entry Dungeon... Well, I'll try that tonight to be sure.

Nah. It's more the Sewers quest where you can get that crazy sword.
And, of course, that ship where you beat those bad men ;)

*I did all of the CC slaver quests
*The Circus Tent
*I fought those guys in the Seven Vales
*I headed down to the Temple Sewers since the one toughish fight down there provides good loot to sell or keep
*Grabbed Daystar
*Grabbed Celestial Fury (that fight also gives great loot :D )

I had plenty of money for the Shadow Thieves and then some left over to buy a few essentials before heading off to rescue my little sister. :D

Some of these areas are hard if you are at the beginning, but they can be done with careful strategy planning :D

I think money is almost useless in this game i have over 200k gp and cromwell doesnt really make good weapons, because by the time you get the stuff to make the weapons you already have better armor and weapons then he will make, pff completely useless. oh yeah i had enough for the shadow thieves before i left the slums.

Download the ItemUpgrade Mod. You will get better weapons and you will acually need money for a change ;)

Try buying all the real expensive stuff from the extra merchants (eg. robe of vecna, sling of everrard, the katana with extra spell slots, and the bracers of ac 3 is like what? 14k?)

IIRC doing the Trademeet Quests gives the party more than 20000 gold. Moreover the Trademeet quests are relatively easy, compared to say Firkraag.

the quests in the cc, nalia's keep and trademeet will give you enough gold to get some half-decent items and rescue imoen. however, it is true that trademeet alone CAN provide you with enough gold, but why not get the FoA early?
