heres somehting my i figured out all by my lonesome today... creature buys money. its great! this is the way to make serious cash... go to creeper, drop everythign but 5K on the floor or somewhere easy to pick up, and kill whoever you need to so that you can rest inside of Ghorak manor next to our dear friend the talking scamp. Go up to him, sell him your 5K, he will give you 5K in return so no damage. go rest for 24 hours, he has his 5K again. do this over and over and over and over and over and over, do not be worried when you dont see the money you sold him in his selling inventory, because he keeps it in a private stash for himself. when you have done this as many times as you want, kill creeper. on his corpse you will find whatever gold you sold him, in my case, after 15 minuets or so, i had 355,000. booyah! i saved before i killed him and plan on continuing this tommorow... i plan to experiment in enchanting. It didnt seem to work on anyone else or the mudcrab though... You guys probably already knew this though, but just in case there are any newbies on the forum who can benefit from this, i put it up. its the cheesiest thing i have ever heard of, i am richer than Uriel Septim and i dont care how i got that way! knock yourselves out!

Not to be a pacifist or anything but I believe you can just "wait" for the time to pass and the creeper to recharge.

Yeah, you are absolutley right, I've never understood why people say they go across and rent a room in Shenk's shovel. Its very silly.

Perhaps they are realism fanatics?

I personally have never slept for 24 hours, my record is 16, and I know nobody who goes to sleep and has the ability to decide exactly how long they will go to sleep for before they do. I am a realism freak, and I go off questing in that time. :)

wait no, I dont htink you understand. you sell creeper 5,000 gold, he pays you 5,000 gold in return. He pockets the 5000 gold and it says he has no more money to buy stuff from you. you rest 24 hours, wait for his bartering money to regenerate. you do it again, now creeper has 10K in his pocket, and 5K to barter with. you do it again, he has 15K in his pocket, rest and he still has the 15K and the five to barter with. if you keep doing this, the amount he has on his person increases with every trade, so that though it says he only has five thousand when you barter with him, when you kill him you will find the accumulated sum of all the gold you sold him. you see?

yeah, gold is a miscelaneous item so you can sell it. It is quite a nifty trick... i prefer to do it with the mudcrab... as he is hard to get to anyway and i can make quite a bit just from doing that.

Yeah, quite clever trick. But considering how easy it is to aqcuire very valuable items you can sell to mudcrab/creeper, is that really necessary?!?

For example, here's one way to make easy money (this is from http://www.gametalk.com forum):
1.) You may have to join the Temple to do this, then again maybe not...

2.) Acquire 1 levitate potion, 10 water breathing potions, 10 night-eye potions, 10 restore health potions.

3.) Go to GNISIS and to the bottom of the Temple and buy as much Dreugh Wax as you can from Mehra Drora.

3a.) They sell for 100 sticker price, I was getting them for 80 without haggling. If you sell some back, she will restock that amount, i.e. she has 5 you buy and sell back 5 now she always sells 10, repeat and she sells 20, repeat and she sells 40...

4.) Go to the Stilt Strider and take the levitate potion.

5.) Go directly South across the water and to the other side of the island. There is a door marked Cavern Door to Koal Cave. Go inside.

6.) Take a night-eye and water breathing potion, and jump in the water, use these potions as needed (it gets dark - night eye, you need to breathe - water breathing)...

7.) Find and kill the Dreugh Lord. Keep right, and you should find him, there are other Dreugh but ONE Dreugh Lord. This is where the restore health potions come in.

8.) Now here comes the fun part! Go back to the entrance and donate all of you Dreugh Wax to the Koal Cave Shrine.

9.) Check your inventory! Your now have a Dreugh Cuirass for each Dreugh Wax you donated.

9a.) The Dreugh Cuirass has Armor 73, Weight 27.0, and sells for 5250 gold/drakes. It also comes with a Cast when Used Fortify Endurance 10 pts for 60 secs Enchantment.

9b.) Check your Magic Menu, you will have the Koal Cave Blessing listed under Fortify Skill, for one of the Armor or Unarmored skills, if you do it enough times it will fortify all of them :)
Before doing this it's a good idea to use Mark-spell on mudcrab's location so that you can go there with Recall, as it is unlikely you will be able to move with all those dreugh cuirasses with you. Then you can sell 2 cuirasses to mudcrab at a time (and press "Max sell" button to even it down to 10 000) and rest 24 h, repeat untill you have enough money (you can leave the rest of the cuirasses on the ground, if you need any money later on, they are there waiting for you).

Oh, btw, it's not really necessary to get all those potions mentioned above. It is possible to do the quest without water breathing potions and night eye, but of course they'll help. Especially if your character is low lvl.

If you're on the PC, get Magistrate's Mage Rewards mod. Once you become a Master Mage you'll have access to a room where a mage assistance with 18000 drakes will buy any magical goods at extremely friendly prices.

you make a lot of money a lot faster, and you still have the mudcrab, who busy pretty much the same things, except soul gems.

I know, it's fun too. When you have over 100,000 gold, you start to wonder what to do with the money.  :(  :o  :p ;) :D

Caldera, Ghorak Manor. Try using the search next time. It might be easier.
(I know fable, I know. "This thread's getting off topic, the question's been answered, thread closed." I'm goin'...) :p

Heh. :D But since the topic's cheesy moneymaking, I've got no problems with keeping it open. Provided it doesn't veer off. ;)

I just get Souldrinker from Ranis Athrys, steal 20 petty soulgems from Balmora, and start hunting rats.

One soulgem is good for 200-400 gold when souled, there is practically no cost involved (even if you use soultrap scrolls it is still a profitable work) and just about everybody will buy soulgems, including Creeper.
