When you change from a starting class to a jedi class, how do the stats (Saves and Defense/Attack Bonuses) add up?
For example, the Scoundrel gets 4 Def bonus at level 8, If i turn into a consular, I get 4 Def bonus at level 8/9 (I assume it starts out at 8? Meaning that you get an extra level (?)) So should by def bonus be 8? (Im sorry I cant check because i just deleted all my saves.

Never really checked it, but since the stats page shows, for instance Scout:8 and Sentinel:2, I assume you start as level 1 Jedi and simply add up. Note that the base-class specials 'max out' at level 8 and the jedi specials at level 12...
IIrc, my Scout-8/Sentinel-12 had much higher saves then would be possible with a level-20 Sentinel

I'm not sure I'm reading you post right, however...
When you become a jedi you follow thoese abilities and don't gain more abilities from your former class. And all abilities simply add together as Malaksbane suggests.
So if you are a level 8/8 Scoundrel/Consular you would have a defense bonus of 4 from the Scoundrel-class abilities and 4 from the Consular-class, for a total of 8 in defense bonus.
I'm not sure this is what you ask, but it was what I could make from your post.
