The portrait problem again raises its ugly head to be sliced by elven weapons

Ok, so i stumbled upon my Black Isle folder the other day when i was reinstalling IWD2 after a tragic computer crash (resulting in the loss of my entire IWD2 file when the last thing on my plate was the final battle, and the loss of my killer sorcerer 
) and finally found out how to make a portraits folder, I downloaded some portraits and unzipped them into the folder, but now when I go to use them I still cant get to them...someone please rescue me from the perils of computers!!! I wonder what happens if you jab an elven longsword through a computer...maybe ill just bash it with the pommel....
