Somehow all spells being cast are affected by wild surge: color change, both spells and scrolls I cast as those of my enemies
And I don't think I have to tell that it might be a bit annoying ...
(I first noticed it in the Sahuagin city but didn't pay much attention, and now I'm stuck with it)

Does someone know how to solve it?

Moving to the SoA forum, where this question appears to belong.

Wild surges are funny, take a wild mage and keep casting nahrl's reckless whatever ( forgot the name its so annoying ) on cespenar and see what happens, i was laughing for a half an hour when a wild surge accidentaly polymorphed cespenar into a snake.

Actually wildsurges are added in ToB so it's a ToB topic.

Do you have ToB installed? And have you installed the latest patch?

They're added in the expansion, true, but they're not simply added in ToB. If you get the expansion, you can play a Wild Mage right from the start of SoA.

Maybe he has one of the cheat keys enabled. If I remember correctly ctrl+h allows you to chose any of the wild surges from 1 to 100.

Well, I'm a Kensai/Mage, but all castings were changed into wild surge: color changes, ever castings from scrolls
But I somehow managed to solve it myself

i guess SoA forum is for all the SoA things not the ToB ones so this thread is a toB thread but whatever.....
