Ok, Im on kangaxx's demi lich form, ive been running up and down the stairs for about at least 15 mins, and hes still not out of imprisonment spells. Any idea how many imprisonments hes got??

I'm under the impression that he has an unlimited supply of Impisonment spells. I came to this conclusion when I used a Protection from Magic scroll against him and decided to just let him throw what he had at me, and the imprisonments just kept coming, and coming, and coming...

If you're soloing with a blade, the combo Improved Invisibility + Spell Immunity Abjuration might also work

My solo blade is currently level 24, and is dual wielding Scarlet Ninja-To and Belm, giving him a whopping 5 att/round in offensive spin.

Im dualing celestial fury and dakkons zerth blade with 5 APR with offensive spin. (level 20)

Where did you get those 2 attacks? Dual wielding gives 2 att, and offensive spin adds another one. How did you reach 5?

er, that was with a potion of speed as well. Forgot about that

. Otherwise its 3 APR.

So far i've noticed that soloing is A LOT easier than party-play :| I remember having lots and lots of troubles with the dragons, and here i defeated them without even getting hurt

And Blades just rock ofcourse

Part of that is probably because when you have one or two characters, you tend to be a lot more careful and tactful, while if you have an entire group of high level characters, people tend to just throw them at the enemy and watch the fireworks.
Not saying that's how it always works, but I have noticed that I 'look before I leap' a lot more often when I'm soloing or using two characters instead of a full party.

easy way out
I had a devil of a time with kangaxx till I tried turning into the slayer. Completely immune to imprisonment. Slash him to hades at the cost of minor reputation loss.

Kangaxx is just a matter of negating the imprisonments, is all. It's a pretty one-route method of winning, to be honest. I think there are some ways to win without bothering with the imprisonment, with traps and the ring of the ram, and those are really quite smart, I think.

I just managed to kill him

For his Lich form, i used my standard Lich tactics (True Sight, Dispel Magic, Sunray from Daystar, if save vs spell hack away with Mace of Disruption and Daystar), and when he changed into his demi-lich form it was just a matter of casting Spell Immunity: Abjuration, Improved Haste and pounding him with Melfs Minute Meteors. After one MMM recast, he was near death, and Carsy took the final hit

Yes, it is possible (and very funny) to kill him with Traps + Ring of the Ram. First, you need to place a lot of Traps in one corner of the room. When you have defeated his lich form (without him triggering the traps) use the Ring of the Ram as soon as he changes to demi lich to knock him into the corner where you placed the traps

- dead Kangaxx.

Kangaxx
Mr. Trance is impeccably correct - Kangaxx DOES have unlimited use of the Imprisonment spell. However, it is quite interisting to take one of the headband objects of domination from the Illithid layer in the Underdark - you can use one to make Kangaxx your permanent ally (it's great fun).

Will he be able to walk around outside of the place with you and stuff? if so, what a load of cheese

If you want a really cheesy character, do that weapon combo (Scarlet Ninja-To, Belm) with a Kensai. Natural speed increase, plus any other speed increasing items you happen to come across... (Amulet of Cheetah Speed, Boots of Speed, Gauntlets of extraordinary specialization, etc.)

Isn't the Scarlet Ninja-To a "Useable By Monk Only" Weapon?

Yes it is. But thanks to that wonderful UAI ability, my Improved Hasted Tensers Transformated Blade now has 8 attacks per round. Gotta love them =D

Oh... forgot the UAI
Wow... I should get it for Haer'Dalis

Cheese indeed.

Yes, you CAN take him outside, and he maintains his ability to use "impisonment" over...and over...and over. Also, if Minsc is in your party (or you can rage like him due to a class-related ability), his "battle rage" makes him immune to Imprisonment.
