Why am I at such a low level (Spoiler/NWN original)?

I am at the end of the game; I just got the fourth word of power and entered the source stone. I encountered Asheera and she gave me her amulet. The problem is that I am at level 15 and the required level is level 19. I have tried to do every quest, and I normally only have one helper (be it henchman or other) at a time. Yet I still can't cast level nine spells or wear the amulet because my level is so low. Is this normal? Is chapter four long enough past the point I'm at now that I can still level up that much? Should I just use a cheat to level up?

My fighter rogue finished the game on the last difficulty as a level 12fighter/2rogue so i would say your dooing just fine.

You're fine (I also belive that in an earlier patch the required level was 26).

Good to know I'm okay. It's sort of stupid not to be able to use the highest level spells at the end of a game though.

You should have played without henceman 
Playing without henceman give you quite a boost to XP.
I started doing so from Chapter 3, and finished at level 16 or 17.
Killed both dragons without hencheman too(killed the weak one, and gave couple of blows to the second, went back through the portal, rested, killed the second one).
Only to get Morag I used Grimgnaw again. he was quite helpful in order to kill the guys that are standing right at the enterance to Morag's room, and the two warriors that are standing outside her circle.
Then I kiind of ingored him, killed one of her protectors, and helped her to pass to the next level of existance...
Not that it helps you much now, but you could try doing SoU without hencheman
