I am in chapter two in the Ice Castle on the secound floor. I've opened everything and explored every where possible, but I cannot get the door to the final fight opened. I know there is a similar question already posted, but their problem seemed to be opening the first door with the words "embrace the shadow.." or whatever it was etched on it. My problem is opening the door within that door. I cannot seem to do it and I am confused. Can anyone help me?

Oh, and as for Nate's (the guy in the prision) items, where are they because I was in what I thought was the treasure room (across the hall from Oria's room) but I did not find his items, other then his ring.

Thanks.

where to start.... nathaniels stuff is in storage room in the lowest level...(opened by prism device) ring that nathaniel wants is in storage room where you can enter by using painting in the first floor...

to get there where is that shadow.... you can go there by using painting try all those things walk in to shadow and open the door shoot with prism... and there you are...

to banish that spirit you need to talk with that genei in first floor....(to get its name...)

Yep, you open the outer door from the inside using the painting on the First Level, then walk into the shadow. To open the next door you have to align the mirrors correctly and fire a lightning bolt from the prism thing in the big central room. SPOILER-> If I remember correctly you move the mirror directly to the north of the prism room so it's facing South-West, then you point the prism to the North and I think that does it.
There are two treasuries in the Ice Temple, one that opens normally and another that needs a blasting from the prism. SPOILER-> I believe you have to blast the lightning down into the room where all the Shadows were and through a secret compartment in one of the coffins.

Thanks

Thanks, although I had already figured it out before I read the replies. I'm not sure what exactly I was doing wrong before I posted, perhaps it was playing for hours straight on little sleep, but it was easy. >.<
