Watcher's Keep-Level 2-Ice Golem

I am at Watchers Keep, second level and am trying to kill the ice golem & ice wraiths...I can't seem to hit either creature for ANY amount of damage. Any suggestions? Does this sound like this is a bug? I have tried a load from SOA and TOB and can't hit him (tried all different weapons, spells, approaches). Hope someone can help...Thanks

Well, yes & no. Yes, it refered to magic golems that you use regular weapons on. Boyfriend is sleeping, I've been trying this all day. Only have magic weapons, but found some throwing axes on the merchant lady outside. I'm very new to this and not sure if you need a skill to use a throwing axe

I belive that is the Ice Mages "Guardians"?, so you need to read the other mages notes on how to defeat the guardians.
This level is build up around the concept of 4 mages, all mastering one element and hating the other 3 mages.
Therefore each mage has made some notes on how to defeat a mage that is weak to their element.
If you find these notes (located somewhere in the libaries - the square rooms, where as the Guardians are located in the circular rooms), they give hints to how to defeat the guardians around the corner rooms.
I hope this helps, because I don't have a game to boot up so I can find spoiler information for you. Likely others can.

I'd be surprised if this wasn't in the Walkthrough.The ice golem is invulnerable until you open all the doors and use the fan in the Air room to blow the Slime room vapours into the Ice room. Hopefully that makes sense.

Thank you guys! Well, by searching three separate walk through pages, I was able to learn that I had to leave the fan in the air room on high to let the poison air roll over that way. I think I've been playing for less then a month (only other game I've played is UO)...but I get confused easily with the "speech/grammer, for lack of better words) in this game...tricked easily, but will learn more each game. But thanks again for all your guy's help!

a bit off topic, but the fan/poison cloud can also be used to cheesily defeat the demon.
