Just when you think the man dies for good, the Adventure of James TIBERUS Kirk will comeback to bite you. The evil Sleazel hears rumors he will be back on the new series Enterprise. It seems to me he is as bad as that weasel dude ...you get rid of him only to have him come back and back and back and back. Reminds me of the flu.

Well, not much threat here... I lost all interest in Enterprise as soon as they messed up the Star Trek Continuem. Not to mention the horrible (even for Star Trek

) acting, and the futuristic throw back of a ship.

Funny enough - I've never been a StarTreck fan, eventhough I like Sci-Fi.
So more power to Shatner if he can weasel (hehe) his way back onto the concept - go go go

I am more concerned that he has been back in the recording studio!

He should have been staked during the original run of Star Trek--that's how I felt when I first saw it on its initial showing, and I feel that way now. But does anybody listen to good advice? Pah! Of course not! At the very least, stick a cloth in his light and tie his hands together! For the sake of the gods,
keep the man from attempting to act!

Nah, he is a babylonian god, forget your delusions Gwally.
Fable, why is that? I'm kind of an outworlder in this topic, can you explain your arguments?

I don't even know what in my mind translated "mouth" to "light." My subconscious does amazing things.

Ah, Okay, makes more sense that way. I thought this might be some Jersey expression I'd never heard!

Oh, please. I would as soon quote some New Jersey colloquialism as I would stick my head in a garbage disposal and turn it on.

I have this feeling you all doubt James Tiberus Kirk can save you all!!
Don't worry, Scorpius will one day meet the wrath of Shatner.
But what would it hurt? Adding a few New Jersey idiomatic expressions to your vocabulary might give you a leg up .... especially if you were to seek a political post, such as the Governorship. I hear that job's open...

Your news is dated. After Shrub grabbed the last Republican NJ governor for some major cabinet position, the Democrats took the state. (Republicans usually don't fare too well in NJ, but she'd gotten in on a big single issue, opposing her predecessor's opposition to gun control. Not that many New Jerseyites own guns; they don't. But they enjoy violence.) James McGreevey, Democrat, currently holds the office, and he seems to possess rather more backbone than the political species is wont to provide these days. Actually insisted we needed more taxes to provide for education and infrastructure. And got people to agree, by pointing out figures.
Besides, I wouldn't want to run for political office. I'd rather rule by fiat.
Well, as an archaeologist, I'd date any old thing even old news, but McGreevey just resigned! I also heard that he announced "Fable is the only man who is savvy enough to do this job right: Fable will be my replacement."
Does this mean you will be ruling from your car (a Fiat)?
And while we're off the subject, do you have any idea why Weasel is emphasizing "Tiberius"?

Yeah, just noticed that bit online about McGreevey. How sad. I mean, his sexual orientation and his affairs are his own business, but as usual, there are some cynical people prepared to use that as a weapon with credulous idiots.

Read Suetonius about Tiberius. It's disgusting. But fitting.

Perhaps someone can clear something about that up. McGreevey said his affair was "wrong, foolish and inexcusable". Is that just because he is married with kids, or because he engaged in

gay sex

??

Sounds more like you're on the warpath to me, heh.

Anyway, it already was bought back to the originals, Shatner was in one of the TNG movies wasn't he?
Bring back Wesley Crusher!!

I would say the married part. The sex shouldn't matter. (From my point of view the married part wouldn't have mattered if his wife had known and agreed)
As for the other comment...I agree with Fas.
