i use SK and my character tends to die like every time sum1 casts a death spell, so i was wondering, should i set savin throws and resistances to their max? (255) or should i keep em as low as possible(0) because im afraid i dont know if high = good or if low = good (i lost handbook
) so if u can shed some light on the subject... id b very happy.... ty

If you look at your character sheet you will clearly see that all bonuses to saves are listed there as negative amounts. The goal with saving throws is to roll 20-sided die, and get a number higher than or equal to the listed saving throw with modifiers. D&D has always been wacky that way. The reasoning behind this is supposedly that wearing a +3 ring for example, you add the 3 to the die roll. This idea is inconsistant though. Think of armor; listed as "+4", it actually subtracts from your AC. I suspect that good old GG didn't want to list "better" items as being more "negative". Game design has become considerably clearer (and more sophisticated) since the good old days of Chainmail and D&D...

lololol... the best if if you get negative saving throws... try -20, then your characters will always save vs spells
