what are propylons

are propylons for instant travel or somthin

Yes, they are teleportation devices. Each propylon chamber has an Index Stone associated with it. If you have the index for the chamber you want to use it will transport you to another chamber at another fort. I believe there are 8 total indexes. They are scattered around the map. There are many posts on this forum that will tell you their locations - just use the Search Function to find a previous thread. There is also an Official Mod that you can download from the Elder Scrolls site that allows you to combine all the indexes into a Master Index.

master index eh? that'd be nice...on xbox you have to run around with 8 extra items in your inv...not that they weigh a lot, its just that much more you have to cycle through to reach other gear.

you could also go to the yellow pages....lol when I first saw it i thought it would make me explode so I saved the game and walked it it slowly
