Book of Infinite Spells

Post by Yuusuke »

Is this thing bugged?

How do you use it? And how do you flip to the a different page?

Place it ina quickslot. the "abilities" button let you decide whether to use it to cast a spell or to turn a page.

After experimenting with it a bit, I think it's best to save, then flip it until you end up with Spell Turning then keep it there. If you never get to Spell Turning before running out of pages, reload and try again. Wyvern Call is another good possibility.

Spells I know it has:

Burning Hands
Protection from Evil
Fireball
Wyvern Call
Spell Turning

There may be others I'm forgetting, but from experimentation (and looking at the item list in Shadowkeeper) I know there aren't any I liked better.

Essentially, when you turn the page it destroys the original book and creates one of the other versions randomly. This means that a new book is just as likely to reach the end on a page turn as a book that has already had it's pages turned 20 times.

invisibility, farsight, true seeing, stinking cloud and lightning bolt may also appear on its pages.
