Can anyone help I haave stepped on the plates accordingto the taable in tthe previouss room but I still cant get the hammer hand to work help please

Hmmm. I'm not aware of any bug in this area. The graphics, however, can be misleading.

When you step on the correct symbols then go into the other room to trip the hammer, what do you do next? The hammer should change its position. Once that is done, go back into the symbols room and look closely at the floor. There should be a staircase in the middle of the pattern. Move your cursor around and see if you can get the staircase pointer.

If it's an actual software problem, consider backing up your saved games, reinstalling, and cleaning out the cache folder.
