Complaints about school

I feel like complaining. Today was the second day of school for me, and I had to run the mile. Uugh. I hate running the mile. It was hot outside, and gym class is right after marching band. So I got to march for 90 minutes, then run the mile. When it was hot and humid. My favorite.
Anyone else in school now? I remember the good old days when it started in September.
OK, I'm done complaining now.

As for running the mile! What are you on! I love middle distance running! its great! And the marching shuld be a great warm up! I feel best running a mile at full pace after running a few miles first to warm up! Learn to love it.... it sure beats
A) regular school work
B) Sprinting

Thanks for making me feel bad
I think my main problem was that I didn't pace myself at the beginning. Oh well. I guess it is sort of better than regular school work, which reminds me, I have homework to do. I'm learning about prepostitions for the n-th time. Fun.

you're meant to pace yourself??!??!?! A mile is like a 5 minute run, a long semi-sprint, not a Edurance Test!!!! Ever tried the Bleep Test??? THAT is endurance!

I live in the NY (USA) and I don't start till September 8th... I'm actually looking forward to school. And yet, I'm dreading it. Usually, every year I'm looking forward to school because I will get to be with all my friends again, but I dread it because of the work. But this year... It's reversed. I
want to do the work and I'm not ecstatic about seeing my friends. (Long story...) That, and my best friend graduated last year. I still have three freaking years to go. Sixteen years old and in 10th grade...

I'm always the freaking oldest in my grade. It's so annoying. I didn't fail a grade or anything, my parents just put me in KG late. But yeah, like I said, I need the schoolwork to keep my mind busy. Otherwise I think too much about too many things and get all stressed out.

And I'm looking forward to basketball starting. I love sports. Especially when I'm supposedly the "lead girl" on the team. (More experience, I suppose.) Anyways... ::hands JazzyAnna a corndog:: Cheer up, school ain't that bad for the most part.
...And giles377, I personally think braces are adorable.

I actually enjoy school very much, I just felt like complaining about the mile. This school year is going to be awesome, because I have really good teachers. But my friend's schedule is the best. One English class, then the rest of the day is music classes. Thanks for the corndog.

I start on the 7-th, but that's beside the point.
You're in High School, or perhaps Middle School, aren't you. I remember Gym, that annoying little class where all you do during the period is run, then nothing. You know what annoys me, when the budget starts to crunch on the administration the first thing they cut is art and music. If you ask me, the first thing they could cut is Gym. Followed very closely by Health. What the heck kinda class is Health?!
*takes deep breath*
I don't really think school, be it middle or high, or even college level, is really that bad. It can get tedious with all the work and stuff, but if you've ever worked before, I bet you can imagine it's probably better than being "out there", in the real world. Everybody says it's cutthroat out there, and I for one believe them. I'm grateful to be in a (relatively) safe haven for now.

@Opalescence I'm in high school. It is sad when they cut a music or art program. Those are definitely the most important. And it is sad most of today's youth don't really appreciate (good) music and art.
Health is a stupid class. They teach the same things every year.
But, anyway, I'm enjoying school. But I have homework now. I get to color a map! But I have to color inside the lines, so this is going to be difficult.
