im stuck with the land deed for the rethan manor. i dont no what to do. i have gone back and forth but the people keep saying i need one and that the hlaalu guy has one what do i do.

you are trying to get a land deed for your stronghold? talk to the duke in ebonheart. he'll give you one.

yeah i had trouble with this as well, they way they word it it sounds like the bren hiallu guy has the contruction contract, but go the main building thingy in ebonhart then go up the spiral staircase, you will see a grouping of about 4 ppl, talk to the duke and talk about construction, he then gives you permission, if you agree to be nice and just and ****, then you go back and contruction begins

When I talk to the Duke, I don't see anything about a land deed or Construction...
Or do I have talk business with him?
cuz that aint workin either... (not high enough rank, and Crassius Curio isn't talking either)

You need to be higher. Crassius needs to tell you to get the deed.

Yeah talk to crassius, get naked for him then make him your patron then talk about being advanced, get to house brother than you need to ask about a stronghold, then you go to balmora and talk to some guy by the stairs about it and he says get the construction from the duke, then ask at duke about "construction contract"

yeah sure anyway, i have a few words of warning for anyone who wishes to be a part of house hiallu and wants a stronghold, when you go into the room with bren alen DO NOT! i reeat DO NOT attempt to open the locked door behind him unless you have probes capable of disabling the trap, now its not a strong trap, about 50 life will see you through it but my neighboor went in and well the trap sprung and missed him, and well as you know the room is full of ordinators, well anyway about 3 of them where wasted and bren alen was kille instantly, after that there is no way to become a house father and have a stronghold and you cant switch houses, so just be careful in that room

New problem...

I went naked before Crassius, got his patronship and did 2or 3 quests for the guy in Caldera...

Now he wants me to deliver a shipment of ebony to a friend.

when I accept the quest, the guy says the friend is dead.
How do I fix this problem, because it doesn't let me become a house brother...

You dont need to do any quests for him, you can do quests for any house hiaalu person who can give quests, try edryno woman in the hiaalu canton(shes dont in the lower waistworks, north part i think) anyway do quests for any house hiaalu person, you only need to get advancment from crassius

I did all of those. I'm now house cousin, and one quest away from becoming House Brother. I can't seem to find anybody else to get quests from...

Um there is a woman in balmora, a woman in vivec in the waistworks of hiaalu canton um, crassius of course, um that shoudl be all you need, i did the ones for the 2 women and once i got all i was able to get my stronghold

I only just figured out that to rise in status, you only have to iprove certain skills...
Annoying...

Well of course, because see in this magickal world of Tamriel ppl can look at you and instantly judge your skil in certain things, and for some reason they want you to be of a certain lvl, yes very annoying

you're being sarcastic, right?

Why would you believe im being sarcastic? just because i hate how you need to have your skills at like 85 for the end of most guilds and by this point no1 can train you anymore

one of my characters is in house redoran and house hlaalu so you can switch houses

Do you mean i didn't patch the game? well see that might be kinda hard what with me having the xbox version, okay ill alter what i said, anyone on XBOX should be careful of who dies

whats patching? i have x box too so i dunno whats going on but im in redoran and hlaalu houses...maybe i should try for telvanni..who do you talk to to join telvanni anyways?
