Is it realistic to do ALL quest????

My character is a Cavalier (for the newbies: lawful good!!!!!!) and that means he lives by a strict code of honor. So, when I came across Korgan I didn't except that quest (the guy is chaotic evil).
BG2 is a roleplaying game and just as in AD&D the great thing about that is that u can assume another role. This means that when I play a good guy , I also act like one (in real life I'm chaotic evil of course!!...ehhh..). Even affiliating with that evil filth could corrupt me, and essentially make the paladin stronghold quests impossible (if bg2 was really that strict).
Maybe I am purist but when playing the first time (ok even I had fun the second time, I played bg1) you should stick to the role playing. Or do you guys have other ideas about that???
But remember having fun is the most important thing!!. I have the most fun playing a chaotic evil halforc barbarian (19/17/19/14/15/18..no cheating) and teasing Aerie (she is such a baby, keeps crying about her wings, if she still had them I would cut them of my self)

Toe maar, nog een Nederlander hier...

(Or, for the not-dutchies here: Well, another Dutchman here...).

Yes, when I first went through the game with my Priestess of Lathander (Lawful Good), I did all quests I could find ... just curious about the rewards, the plot of such a quest, etc...

From a role-playing perspective, that's indeed not a good move. Then again, right now on my second try with my Chaotic Good Fighter/Thief, I have Viconia in my party, and she's Neutral Evil ... talk about a 'wrong' mix there ... any chance her alignment will change?

hey maurice (by chance a ex-Rijnlander??)

That would be kewl (an alignment change). My DM (in AD&D) is very strict about alignments and their effect on the game. I sufer alignments shokes more often than I fart (thats a lot for u people wondering). Perhaps its an idea to change the way alignment is used when u change the difficulty seting.

Ever wondered why most objects u need to solve quest cant be sold??? That aint realistic should have changed when u pick core-difficulty (thats my opinion)

Nope, not an ex-Rijnlander. I live (and have lived there for my entire life) in Zuid-Holland, close to Rotterdam.

Some nice ideas, by the way, I only think it'll be somewhat hard to implement them.
