Hi all!
I have some questions relating experience and gaining levels on IWD II. I played Baldur´s Gate II and Planescape: Torment butI am not familiarised with this new (for me) ruleset.
1.- Is there an experience cap? I mean, can I go further than level 20?. If it exists, is there a patch to remove the cap?

2.- I am playing as an Aasimar, will he stop to gain levels when his effective level reaches 20?

It's Level 30 I believe and as far as I gather it's his ECL that counts so his max level is 29? As far as I know there's no way to remove the Experience Cap, I don't think.

you'll only have enough XP in the Normal mode to get to level 16-17 (14 or 15 for ECL races, accordingly).

if you really "milk" the game for XP, you could get to level 18.

That's with a party of six though. The main thing is, if you did the game, then did Heart of Fury and essentially got your characters as much experience as possible, they could not advance higher than level 30.
