After I rescue Thrommy,and I meet Thrommy's troops on the map.
Then I get the reward from the knight. But he only give me a lot of
money and magic potion ,and ring of protection +1 to each person.
He handing Scather(blue greatsword) and just run away.. he broken my heart.
I had tried many times, but the result is no change...
this is 2 information of my TOEE.
1: the game start I chose Chaotic Evil. All of my character is Chaotic Neutral.
2: my TOEE has already patch to patch2. and my OS is win2000 SP3

Isn't some condition that I didn't done yet?

PS. this is my first time to play D&D series pc game. and first time to play
english version game .I spend a lot of time to cognize D&D.
I like this great game.

Well both the Fragarach and Scather swords are Chaotic Good swords,so maybe a chaotic evil party cant get it.. It is all but useless to someone who isnt Chaotic Good anyways,it loses all of its bonuses.

Maybe you are right. It is possible for that Thrommy didn't ask his knight give sword to me. Since I choose evil this time, I think I will kill him.
And then ,I will try it ,and replay again.

Many dialogs and rewards are given based on alignment. With the knights - to get Scather you must not be evil and to be knighted you must be good.

I have tested this program again. This time i choose the Chaotic Good,and i
got the Scather too. so thank you all.

Hmmm.

When I killed trommel, everyone got mad at me in hommlet. Giving me the butcher of hommlet rep. Kinda annoying because that was my source of income.
