you know i have a pretty stupid problem with the trunk of the car;
some stupid bug
well i got pretty much junk in my trunk when i came to ncr
in ncr i could put things into the trunk and take things out of it
but when i went vault 15 and opened the trunk it was empty
i thought **** all my items gone including the microfusion cells
well then after cleaning the vault i put all the rifles i found there into the trunk
but when i returned to ncr and opened the trunk the old items were there again
but not the rifles from vault 15
i solved this problem: gave the rifles to my party members and drove to NCR
there i took the rifles from my party members and sold some for better weapons and put the rest into the trunk to the other items
i thought: well now it works yeah

but no this was just the beginning
in vault 13: again nothing in the trunk
ok, i thought, there seem to be maps where the trunk is empty
i thought well in the cities the trunk is going to be full again
then i drove to New Reno: nothing in the trunk
i drove back to NCR : dinally the items were back again

but this sucks
what can i do?

please help i don't want to continue until this problem is solved
the junk in the trunk (hey nice rhyme ) is worth 50,000 $

well, you should try to download a patch, but know that this will make your saves unuseable e.g, you'll have to start over again.

you think it wold help if i take some things out of the trunk?
maybe its just too much in it?
i didn't count but i think got around 40-50 items in there

I don't know if reorganizing your trrunk will help, but you can try. My problem was that my trunk would simply disappear all the time, so I installed the patch, but of course, I had to star over again, but its not that bad, in fact it gave me the oppertunity to fix some of the bigger errors I had done.

well i already started over again to fix my errors
i don't want do the same quests and fights wahtaever for the third time
that would be boring and frustating

i took everything out of the trunk, put the things i don't need into a box in NCR
and gave the rest to my party members because it didn't work
no matter how much you put into the trunk it won't be displayed in other cities
but i solved the problem differently
i made marcus the sherif of Broken Hills join my party
this guy i huge as a car and can carry as much as the trunk
and he got a nice gun
