Guardian\Consular

So now I am planning to make a LS Soldier (8) \ Consular (12)
I'll give him high wisdom and dexterity. medium high strength, constitution and Charisma, and low intelligece.
I'll split my skill points between treat injury and persuade.
i'll try to get the following feats as maxed out as possible:
Two weapon fighting (just for the fun of it)
Implants
Toughness
Conditioning
Lightsaber mastery
Flurry (if I have any leftover points)
when it comes to force powers, I'll get the following:
Dominate mind (of course)
Speed
Wave
Destroy droid
Heal
Stun
This build is for roleplaying purposes only, and I'm thinking of soloing some of the game as well, (atleast semi-solo) but what do you guys think of it?

I would make maxing out Flurry a priority, before taking toughness/conditioning and weapons specializations. Lightsaber Mastery only yields +1 attack and +2 damage, level-3 FLurry gives +3 to attack and defense, compared to the level-1.
Improved Energy Resistance is a high priority Force Power for me, it takes away 15 damage, including lightsaber damage
Dominate Mind ... I never needed it, I don't think there are any convo's and sidequests that can not be done with regular persuade.
Stun and Destroy Droid aren't favorites of mine, but you have a Consular and plan on doing some parts solo, so they (at least Stun) might be very usefull.

I agree about dominate mind, but at least Force Persaude if you don't like pouring a load of skill points into persaude (which he is, so it doesn't really matter!)
I quite liked the destroy droid force power. Takes em out of action for a while, made droids VERY easy. Stun had the same effect, putting Malak in Stasis made him somewhat easier! Only aboard the Leviathan though, where he was pretty easy anyway.

I used level 6 soldier and 14 consulor last time. I got the basic good stuff of being a soldier, but more options and possibilities of the jedi. Worked for me. I played extreme light side last time and never really found myself wanting for anything I could have gotten by being a level 7 or 8 soldier before becoming a jedi.
Beating starkiller as a level 6 soldier was kind of a pain, but it's do able. Guys have done it with much less.

Well, I want to take the Soldier to max because of the extra feats I will get
Oh, and concerning Bendak? I killed him with a lvl 2 Scoundrel so it's definetly doable

the answer to killing this guy is, grenades, concussion grenades, sonic grenades, ion grenades, whatever you have. Have any other grenades, throw them at him, but keep moving and make sure you stun him with a concussion grenade first before doing anything else. With a level two character it take a lot of grenades.
Grenades, Grenades, Grenades
Oops, just answered a really old post. Sorry.

I'm plannig to do the same as you, a great fighter with good mastering of the Force, it should just be great
, I'm still on taris sewers right now with a level 5 soldier, I originnally planned stopping levelling u pthere but if you say I can reach level 6 I might do so.
But I'm wondering if I should level up automatically when beiing a Jedi or chose the powers and feats myself...
What do you suggest?

Choose your powers yourself, although it is possible to see the "Recommended" power, then undo it before moving on in the level up process. I just finished the first time with a Light-side Scoundrel-7/Jedi-13, and there were a few points along the way, especially in the final battle, where I thought, "Gee, if I only had such-and-such a power... ."
I also tend to pick powers and skills for Jedi NPCs in the party but auto-level most everyone else. Late in the game, my character plus Jolee an Juhani were able to hack their way through everything in the game, occasionally replacing Juhani with T3-M4 when computer slicing was in order. The little guy can be quite deadly with some plating and a flamethrower installed.

So you leveled-up to level 7....
I allready know that the PC + Juhani + Jolee was a deadly team, but I also heard that T3 is unusefull all along the game.... Si is he really?

hk is better, if only for the high regeneration...better stats, better dialog...if fully upgraded...
really droids can be extremely powerful, if you invest in flamethrowers, carbonite projectors, and etc...
but hk is a better fighter, and he can regenerate, so you can sell off repair kits for more cash...
and his comments are so funny...

After levelling up a ways, T3 can slice into computers and repair deactivated droids (which take out enemies quite nicely in most cases) using almost no spikes or parts. You have to upgrade him using plating, flamethrowers, etc., although for sheer combat power he can't match HK-47 (him being an assassin droid after all...). But even when you first get him, he can be quite useful. I like to equip him with Droid Plating, a Stun Ray, Shield Disruptor and a Heavy Blaster. During the fight with the Sith Governor on Taris, T3 hit the governor with his stun ray and a Concussion grenade, Bastila hit him with Force Push, and the fight was over in seconds.
I ran into Darth Bandon on Manaan with my character, Jolee and T3. The little guy held his own, using a flamethrower on Bandon while the two Jedi chopped him to pieces. The two Dark Jedi were mincemeat once Bandon was gone.
The beauty of KOTOR is that there is no single way to play the game. If you like hack-and-slash combat, then T3 may not be all that useful. If you like using your head and playing the game more as a puzzle, then he can come in handy at times.
