What are those? Can you give a bit more detailed explanation of why they are important (I mean are they special equipment or quest items)? Maybe it would help to recall where I came across them...

They should be a kind of boots that give you +5 dexterity.

They're in the severed hand somewhere. IIRC, in the room with the half-dragon lady and her pet chimera.

you can get those in severed hand..(it is HoF item.. but you can get 5+ only dexterity boots in normal mode..)
If i remember right it is in the room where half dragon and hers pet chimera is.. there is alchemy table too..
but location is as far as i remember.. under pillow..

Damn, I must have missed them on the first run through. Now I hvae to wait until the end of the game to get them!

same thing is for me.. with chain od drakkas... i almost never remember to take it..
