I just wanted to know what you think is better, the true flame or the hopes fire.

hopesfire doesnt look as cool but it actually is better if you look at the stats

Since shock damage cost more enchantment points, I assume that Hopesfire is better.

its not that its the actual damage of the weapons...compare them...they have the same shock and fire damage its just the actual power of the sword

I said that since shock damage cost more in enchanter's menu, then I assume that shock damage does something fire damage doesn't do.

yes i read it but i dont know what lightning would do that is better than fire

yea well i guess u forgot the fact that this is morrowind and dark elves are the commoners of morrowind and they are fire resistant so it wont do that much damage compared to electricity

i never knew about that...but then again ive only been imperial and redguard...

And Hopesfire is lighter.

The truth of the matter is that Hopesfire and Trueflame are the same in power,if you look closely you will see that while Hopesfire has less min dmg it has more max or something, and Trueflame is the opposite, well maybe i got the two mixed up but they are same in power, but Hopesfire is much cooler looking

it seems like hopesfire is better..but still trueflame looks better

Hopesfire also has a faster attack speed.

Yeah plus lets not forget that thank to Bethesda and whatever they were smoking, nearly everyone has high resist to fire whereas almost no1 cept nords have a good resist for shock

i opinion still stands, hopesfire maybe better, but trueflame still looks cooler

its hard to notice it but hopefire's blue flame is actually bigger than trueflame's red/orange one... but my opinion still stands
