How do I kill the blasted Ice Golem?

I am stuck in the 2nd level of the Watcher's Keep without a way to kill the Ice Golem -I cannot open the doors between the slime Air Chamber and the Ice chamber. Is there any other way? He seems immune to anything I throw at him.

You have to have both the Air- and Slime-scepter to open the doors, the slime scepter is on the Giant Snake, the Air Scepter on one of the Lesser Air Elementals, press TAB to see it, I missed the Air Scepter the first time; open all doors between Air, Ice and Slime...

Don't forget to turn up the fan in the Air Elemental chamber.
