When I entered the temple I killed the priestess Cathin before she talked to me.

(I didn't intend to do so, but when I entered in the room I saw only some aurilite postulants and winter wolves, that I killed with two or three fireballs.The fireball hit also Cathin, she turned soon hostile )

Do you think it's important what she tells (i.e. I should reload the game) or can I continue?

you should be able to continue playing.. but i am not sure...
But you would end up killing her in anyway..

SPOILER --> You'll meet her two sisters, Oria and Lysara, they will talk to you before they attack, so I'm sure you can go on without problem. <--

Still it's wise to keep the save game until you finish the Temple, just in case.
