Yes, cheese is good when you cannot for some reason get a character with even average stats despite hours of trying.
I have read on the net that you can save a game and then edit your character's stats in Baldur.Gam, but what program do I use to open Baldur.Gam so I can actually edit it?
Thank you.

Gatekeeper
I wouldnt recommand editing files manually.
Better use Gatekeeper, an editing program for Baldur's Gate.
With it you can alter stats, class, looks, items etc.
You can download the program
here.
PS. What do you think are avarage stats when you cant roll it after hours?

Unlucky
Average would be able to put 13 in all stats (average for d20 is 10½, and for adventurers it should be one or two points higher). And to be honest it was merely half an hour but felt like hours;-)
Thanks, I will try it.

For me after say 2-5 minutes rolling I get atleast 1 role of all 10's + 25 spare.
