I seem to have broken the prism on the 2nd level of the Ice Temple. Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

I believe that the levers at the battle squares have a position that will cause the prism to be repaired.. Unsure on the rest hope this helps

there is plase called battle squares... there use levers until you get ''Temple maintance'' said by that golem. then activate...

Yeah, Wrath is right. All I have to add is that the levers you'll need to use is in the bottom-left of the room. Pull one of them until it's set to "Temple maintenance" and then pull the Mode Activator. (The other levers are rank selectors for the battle game as you might have already figured out)

Dead End In Ice Temple??? Possible Spoiler! Need Help!!!!

i seem to have done everything in the ice temple. i have killed all three sisters, collected nathaniels rign and bag. and nickademus has awoken. i have also opened the shadow door into the altar room.and explored both basement and upper level completely.
now when i go into the altar room i talk to the altar and say its real name. it just says 'yes......' and blabs on about the white abashai being good an eating people. all i can say to that is 'oh, farewell' and so then the altar tells me off for not having an offering and zaps me. i have done this plenty of times and said every possible combination of choices. it all ends with me being zapped.
i have gone back to the abashai people and they still tell me to dispel that voice.
and nathaniel will not take back his ring of ram, i have given him his bag back and now he just tells me to kill the altar when i tell him i have killed all 3 sisters.
i have also got all the required ingredients to fix the airship. but no1 will let me do that either.
please help me i am completely stuck, this is my first run through this awesome game and i need help!!!

There's an efreeti in a small room next to the stairs leading downstair. He is with some acolytes, I guess - talk to him and he'll reveal something important, if I remember correctly.

yeah i have, and killed him? it was those guys with him that made us crash right? what do i do????????????????????

Uh-oh... Reload You don't have to kill them neccessarily, though... They will just walk away and not attack you later. Check your journal to see if you've squeezed out all the possible information from the efreeti.

Or check the walkthrough if you haven't done so already.

ok cheers. but cant u just tell me what i need to do? what does the efreeti tell you that i dont know? please can u tell me, i dont mind a spoiler. ive been stuck on this for a week now and have speant over 4-5hours wondering around the temple doing nothing. please help!

I would love to if I could recall Sorry, I don't remember exactly. All I know is that when I first talked to it it was babbling about insignificant things and when I went back later (after I had spoken to the Abishai) he said sg about how to call forth the name of that thing downstairs.

OK, in the Altar room when you talk to the altar have you spoken the true name of the spirit in it?

SPOILER......
You need to use the spirit's true name "Caged Fury" to banish the spirit in the altar, this is the name given to you by the Efreet. The spirit then turn into a whirlwind for a while and is banished. If you killed the Efreet without it giving you the spirits true name you could have a problem.
End spolier.

IF you've had the whirlwind thing happen then you should be set. If not, then you still need to speak the true name of the spirit.

Try to PM him, I'm sure he'll help willingly.

okay same problem like many others !!
i did Nik's favour and killed every single deamon and yes i cannot get out like so many others,

i went in every room at least 10-15 times saved via quicksave every few steps and went up and down the level CSI style and still dont get a message or anything,

so question is....i dont have any log book entries about beeing in the Icetemple or the fact that i killed the High priestress before it just shows that i should kill her to get out of the Timeloop,
so far i killed her at least 5 times and still don't get any entries,

i know its a old problem but maybe i get some new ideas??

Fang, as you have noticed, many others had problems in the Temple, therefore many threads have already been started on this topic. I merged your new thread into this one. Please try to avoid starting more than one threads on the same topic. Thank you.

As for your question: is the problem that you can't get out of the Temple? Or that you can't get into the Altar Room? If the latter, see Heidrek's post above.
I can see no way you'd be blocked from leaving the Temple...

as i spoke of the Ice Temple i mean't after you killed the High Priestress and you get summoned back to the Temple for Nickademus favour.

I killed ever single monster went through the level at least 30 times up and down i saved with every step and did rest in every room and still nothing,

there is no way i missed a monster somehow and i still don't get the exit,

iam wondering if it is somehow messed up because i never got the quest actually written in my "logbook" to clear the level.

coult it be it's some sort of bug?
after running through an empty level for 4-5 hours it's getting a "bit" anoying !!!
