I was just bored and was wondering what's new in the IWD community nowadays. Anybody ended up using my guide I wrote so long ago?

which guide?
I'm playing IWD2 now, and the Ultimate Powergaming Party FAQ
was really helpful to build my party. it was signed by Ken J. Egervari

Where can I find a guide ?. I have been trying the final battle for days and despite helpful advice from various people in the forum I haven't won it yet. I'm becoming bored and wonder if I should start the whole thing again to see if I can arrive here better equipped. A guide might help.
Thanks in advance

My guide was the UPP guide. I haven't played this game in ages and I know I had an older account without the "2" at the end, but the email address for that account is long gone.
One thing that you absolutely must do in IWD2 is think strategy. You don't even need an uber party to beat the game, you just need to do one or two things to tip the scales in your favour. Of course, being uber makes things a lot easier, but generally it's usually a strategy.
Now, I don't even remember much about the last battle, but I do remember clerics had a spell to make this match a lot easier. It's in that UPP guide. You see, I just tried to mark down all the things I learned while playing the game in a guide. While most of it is party construction, there is a lot of other stuff in there, but I don't really remember much of anything anything anymore.
Actually, I just wanted to start again with a fresh new party and try something people figured out after much era of playing the game.

egervari, in case you're reading this, I used your guide the first (and only) time I played IWD2. I made some personal changes to the lineup and swapped a couple of characters in and out (for example, I replaced one of the Sorcerors with a Paladin some of the time). I knew very little about 3e rules, so your guide eliminated a lot of guessing and struggling to create an effective party. And best of all, it was written in a way that made sense even to a 3e beginner. Thanks!
Also, when I played IWD (which was about a year after I played IWD2), I used virtually the same party (allowing for differences between 2e rules and 3e rules). I even used the same portraits and soundsets from IWD2 (I simply copied them and put them in the appropriate subdirectories), so the party had a nice, familiar feel to it. I replaced the Drow Rogue/Conjurer with a multi-class Elven Mage/Thief who was dressed up to look like a Drow, and I replaced the two Sorcerors with two human Conjurers. Finding enough scrolls to fill up all of their spellbooks was the hardest part of the game.
BTW, I found your guide posted at:
