That's like asking "Do you like corvettes or books?"

They are different games entirely.

The stories are different, the look is somewhat different, the locales and reasons for doing what you do are different..it just doesn't work.

I really like Morrowind.

I haven't played Fable, but I bet when I play Fable I will really like Fable..but again, they are different games.

I just got out of the Baldur's Gate III forum and I can relate an example to that as well..

It's like asking someone if they like Baldur's Gate on PC more than Baldur's Gate on XBox..that is an unfair question, they are on different systems..they are different types of games..but they share a name.

So my answer to the original question of..
what do you think is better fable or morrowind?
..is Yes.

The answer can only make sense if the question makes sense.

the question makes sense it's just that u cant decide wot game u like better, it makes sense because both games r in the RPG genre

baldurs gate and final fantasy are both of the RPG genre and you can't stack them against eachother either.

Plus you can't ask a question such as "morrowind vs fable" yet because it hasn't been out long enough for everyone to have tried it out yet.

I say there are things in morrowind that aren't in fable, and there are things in fable that aren't in morrowind.

Now if both had the same storyline, same look and feel..maybe you can ask which one did it better, but the question you currently ask can't work at the moment.

It's like asking someone who's allergic to melons, which kind of melon is the best.

hmmm...

I'm gonna have to sit on the fence and go with Paranitis here - Morrowind is one of my favorite games, and Fable is the other one, I think. I love the fighting in Fable, I love the options for interaction and human response, I REALLY REALLY love the artwork, I think it's a masterpiece and I think I would pee my pants if I ever got the chance to meet it's designers. BUT I don't love how cut down and short it had to be (I feel very bad for the designers this way - I'm sure there are some of them who, after a large amount of script had to be cut out, are showing their families and friends this game they helped to create. Their friends say:"So what things in this game did you put in?", to which the poor designer would have to say "See that pair of boots? I made that pair of boots. That's it though.") and for that reason alone it weighs the same as Morrowind for me. I could play Morrowind for months and months. And I did. I just played Fable for, what, a week? I really really hope they put out an extremely expanded edition when xbox 2 is released. I think fable is one step away from total masterpiece... as is Morrowind.

(Oh, and please excuse my extremely masculine writing style in other threads - my husband has been using my account, and he likes to talk like a big burly mannnn. ;) )
