I am just wondering but can u have a shop and have people buy stuff and u make money?

well, if you kill the owner, you can buy it (expensive) and rent it out.
money wise, i've heard it is more cost effective to just buy houses and rent them.
you can also own warehouses.

whats a warehouse and how do u get rent from houses i rent them out but weres the money

just return to the town and once you enter you collect

a wharehouse is a building where goods are stored.
there are some in oakvale and bowerstone
if you kill their owners, you can buy them
to collect rent, just walk up to the house.
the money is on the ground by the sign.
you can only collect a maximum of three days worth of rent.
that what the $xxxx/$xxxx means (when entering a town)
so sleep for three days, collect rent, and then sleep for another three days, collect rent, etc.

Yes, you can own shops. Not really worth it though. I have a real-estate map on my site that shows purchase prices and rent incomes in the 5 areas you can own buildings in. Head for the games section at

i could never find the person who owned it, but i didn't slaughter the whole town either.
