I downloaded Dalekeeper and have tried to use it on IWD2, but it just keeps saying it can't find the icewind dale executable file, even when I navigate it to the correct folder.

Do you need a new version of Dalekeeper for IWD2 (such as Dalekeeper 2)? If not, can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

it's an editing program that allows you to change things about your characters. I've never used it but I think it allows you to add/delete things from your inventorey, charcter stats etc. - could be very useful for you with that Final Battle situation (by the way the reason Elementals are described as unreliable allies is that you need to have Prot. from Evil on or they will attack you. Have your cleric cast magic circle against evil on your party before you summon your elementals and you'll be fine).

I wanted Dalekeeper to have alook at the stats for some of the monsters you come up against in the game. I'm playing in HoF mode and it looks like the Barbarian Shamans of the Black Raven Clan have about 500 HP each. Makes even the most powerful damage spells like Horid Wilting and Meteor Swarm next to useless as they do a max of about 120HP damage on a failed save. Symbol: Hoplessness is my new best friend. That spell has saved me soooo many times, if you have it available with your cleric or Soceror it is about the best spell in the game against hordes. Greater Command is excellent too, just make sure that once you've knocked out your opponents you focus everyone on a single creature.
