Has anyone been following this game? I think it looks like it'll be pretty cool. I never got to play the old ones seeing as I was a wee one back then, but I'm looking forward to getting the new one.
Any comments?

the LSL series was one of the STUPIDEST series of games imaginable..yet it was horribly horribly entertaining!

I played Lesuire Suit Larry in the Lands of the Lounged Lizards (the first Larry game) extensively when I was young(er).
It was very funny game.
I've not checked out the upcomming Lesuire Suit Larry, because it shouldn't be terrible similar to the old ones, so I've not had much interest in it.
At some point - I'll likely take a look, but for now it just seems uninteresting.

i've got to say I'm a little curious. i'll check it out - maybe a rental - but i fear that it won't have the same level of lame titilation the the old school ones had because i was 12. it's just nice that they brought the franchise back. here here.

Larry
I played Leasure Larry years ago when I was younger but its not as good as Girls Gone Wild DVD movies. But I could not figure out what the gaurd wanted when I took a babe in to the grass hut. So I just bypast that part. I don't have the games anymore because my son took them years ago. Yea to women who expose them selves.

I tried one of the series years ago. It was entertaining at first, but the one-note humor got old, quickly. If you like it, though, who am I to cast stones? I suggest using Google to see whether any members of the current development were involved in the older titles. The more, the better, I'd think.

That's the not the first LSL game. The first was "Softcore Adventure" or something close.

This, from the website of the author of the 7 Leisure Suit Larry games, Al Lowe:
As you surely know, VU plans to release a new Leisure Suit Larry game this fall. Previews and demos are readily available on the Internet. While Leisure Suit Larry only plays a cameo role, they are billing it as a Leisure Suit Larry game even though the star is "Larry's nephew, Larry Lovage." It is most emphatically not Larry 8! It's not even an adventure game, at least that's what the previews emphasize.
This leads me to suspect the new LSL isn't by Lowe. You may want to wait on reviews, to see if the imitation is close enough to the original to justify purchase--but that's up to you.

I remember playing this a long time ago on my pc. It was really stupid but I just continued to play. It does look interesting though.

You're talking about the German demo, right?
Or is there one in English too? If so, I'd like to be directed to it.

Hey Everybody, so after racking my brain and my sword for a long time playing Fable, Burnout 3, and the never ending Halo I was in the mode for some good mindless fun.
Enter Leisure Suit Larry Magna Cum Laude. I love this game. Sure it has nudity, as the whole point is to help Larry score. But the comments and visual jokes through out the game keep it amusing. Mini games help him complete his tasks. Nothing overly hard or challenging, but still entertaining.
So if your looking for a break from the norm I suggest checking it out. Here are a couple of links so you can get a better idea about it. Enjoy.

Or they could just follow the link that I already posted.
And I was even nice enough to reformat it.
Although mine seems to be locked, now.

Why is that sick?
It's certainly no worse than playing an FPS with gore on.

Try playing Halo 2 with Huge orange and white CENSOR bars covering all the blood, cuts, bullet holes, and dead bodies.
There's nothing sick about wanting an uncesored game.
